Re: Rajnikanth's six-pack
LOL @ the laughter in my head as i read rajinikanth and six pack in the same line:-) however, this is a motion capture film, so ya no big deal.
It's like facebook. If everyone "likes" a picture, it must be good:-) we are jackasses for thinking otherwise.

why not ? FBC syndrome? familiarity breeds contempt ?
He'd fit in very well, just like this guy - I would love to make Kurosawa's samurai films in motion capture , if its not done already

Apparently no one cares about his biceps..if they did, am sure it would take a few mins or secs to digitally manipulate the images and make him look like the Hulk- Biceps and all! As Biceped up as the..Incredible Hulk, Hulk Hogan..and who knows..Hulk Indo! Don't even have to go through the trouble of enduring difficult make up transformations for a long time..as artists used to not too long ago..
Does anyone really care about real or not (cosmetic, digitally enhanced images etc) anymore..in this real-reality distorted times!
If even remotely real..nice to see that they left some real parts of him alone!
*On a more serious note..nice to see him recover and return to the big screen in challenging dual roles..after being seriously ill- critically ill..given another chance to show off himself with flair and flamboyance as only he can!

Re: Rajnikanth's six-pack
Does that mean that the six-pack in the picture is fake? It does look authentic however. Also, if the muscles in the right places and their definition can all be digitally manipulated, I wonder why our heroes take the trouble to get that definition (or let some spurious stories get out that they are working hard on their physical fitness for this role or that). They can merrily go with their paunches in their private lives and be Herculeses in the movies. I wonder if digital enhancements and digital reductions can be done on on heroines' frames too.

trust all is well, akkA.
yeah everything seems to be an illusion these days, huh? "kannai nambAdhey, unnai eamatrum..." in fact after the introduction of adobe photoshop, i haven't been using my SLR as much as I used to
on flair and flamboyance: again the one and only, shtyle king ! one of those rare cases of copy being more impressive than original

I don't know!
*Even as a Rajini fan..while there are many admiring-descriptive terms I can use..sexy-"hot" was/is def not one of them! Don't think have ever seen him with such well toned..rectus abdominis before:) From what I read about his illness..he may have had some serious GI issues..followed by renal and liver transplants (can't confirm!)..It is possible for a 60 + man after going through all he has..to be self-disciplined and trained to look as well-defined he does now? It's possible.
Am sure heroines are touched and enhanced too..I mean, when it comes to images with digital tech!
This movie is said to be made with tech- used in Avatar and other 3 D movies..will be interesting to see.

Nope. Recently I came to know that he is related to one of our family members and he is one of our thoorathu -thoorathu sondham uncle. I have decided not to drool over Rajini after that.
Same with Sarath Kumar - not coz he is related but Radhika is TN's Chitti. That makes Sarath Kumar our Chittappa.
