vidwan s.rajam the older brother of vINai vidwan s.balachandar was also an artist. his genre was depicting hindu iconography and  iconography of the tamil bhakti movement. my aunt's family knew him well and he lovingly did a number of originals for them. i have a book on the periyapurANam, basically the life of the sixty three nAyanmars in poetry with art by sri rajam. here are some examples of his work:
