Sorry I said so....
....Can you count the potential number of state movements? Also, the serious ones?
Many are more serious and dangerous than the Telengana: Bodoland, Kashmir, Ladakh, Rayalaseema (made serious by Telengana), and....stand by...for Malabar.

Why Kinny? Why are you so upset if all these regions become separate states? How is all this any different from the creation of AP from out of the Madras Presidency in the 50s?

Andhra was created on the basis of national (language) identity.
The problem with Telugus is they have lost Telegu national identity but glad to merge in the artificial Indian nation.

I think South Andhra folks are sick & tired of getting bitch slapped, time & again. First they robbed Chennai away from them which was a telugu & telugu town to the core, and now Hyderabad. I think it is high time they demanded for a separate nation. Many of the Annalu hail from S-A region hope they make migration to this side after the split and fight for this noble cause.

Oh really.....is that what your gult history books taught you ?
Just because it was ruled by a couple of village chieftains for a few decades does not mean it belongs to gults. You should be grateful that Madrassis let Gults live their own lives and nurture their language in their city of Thiruvalluvar and Pattinathaar unlike the Hyderabadis and Bangaloreans and Bombaywalas who tried to thrust Gult/urdu, Kannada, and Marathi on everyone in their cities. There were Mylapore, Thiruvottriyoor, Thiruvallikeni - all small independent enclaves that existed for 2000 years before 2 more enclaves Chennapattinam and Madrasapattinam were established by gult chieftains 300 years back.
So be happy that Madrassis were magnanimous in giving Gults to live peacefully in Madras and even elect them as their CMs and were kind enough to give you Andhra but for which you will not have Telengana today and Rayalaseema tomorrow.
Dont forget that Andhra was just above Bihar 20 years back...and you shuld thank Madrasis for making hyderabad and Andhra what they are today....
Just give back Tirupathi and Chittoor to TN as your gratitude.

Chandragiri Kings, descendants of Vijayanagar kings are chieftains to you! At one point, there were as many telugus as tamils (if not more) living in Chennapatnam. Rest of your post is simply blowing hot air.

Chennaptnam is only ONE of numerous other villages all of which had mostly Tanmilians. You are talkign about Vijayanagar kingdom and I am talking about 2000 years ago.
So you lose big time.... if you argue like this, you will lose Telengana and Rayalaseema too to TN..
