Among the SCs in AP, the Mala community dominates in Andhra and the Madigas are more numerous in Telangana. Reservations benefit Malas more than Madigas. This discrepancy happened mainly because of active work in Andhra and apathy by Telangana politicians. One of the unfortunate consequences of the differences in the behavior of politicians in the two regions is this - Malas and Madigas are fighting with each other for benefits. Hopefully, with the separation of Telangana, Madigas in the new state will question the apathy of doras like KCR, Hanumantha Rao and gang.

On a related note, where is Kancha Ilaya? Is he busy with beef-eating parties? Shouldn't he go on a paadayatra across his new state of Telangana doing pooja and chanting mantras to Barre-maata (buffalo)?

Mala are more in number in andhra. As many as 90% of them are evangelical Christians but do not declare themselves as Christians for the sake of reservations.
That group is the source of jagan's electoral strength.
Madigas are more numerous in t area. They remain in old cultural equations.
Vp is correct. The real progress of madigas will happen when they can fight against kcr and dora's. That is the core issue in t area for future.
