PM on Monetray policy...
.....The Prime Minister, himself a Governor between 1982 and 1985, recalled that when he was chosen to head the central bank, he had no idea of what a monetary policy was.
And, he is an OXFORD PhD in economics, a former Professor from Delhi School of Economics and was appointed Governor of RBI not knowing what a monetary policy was?
I am sure he still does not know.

Do you think Rahul knows the difference between fiscal policy and monetary policy?Marathadi-Saamiyaar wrote:

But Rahul is not considered an intellect, an economist or a PhD from OXFORD or has been a professor.goodcitizn wrote:Do you think Rahul knows the difference between fiscal policy and monetary policy?Marathadi-Saamiyaar wrote:

Wrong comparison.

You misunderstood my comment. If the (so-called highly educated) current PM of India pleads ignorance to knowing what monetary policy means how can you possibly consider someone like Rahul for PM?Marathadi-Saamiyaar wrote:But Rahul is not considered an intellect, an economist or a PhD from OXFORD or has been a professor.

Rahul is considered a PM candidate by the CONmen bcz of his last name and family. NOTHING ELSE. ABSOLUTELY.goodcitizn wrote:You misunderstood my comment. MMS was picked as PM not for his economics but for his slavish mindset. If you recall Zail Singh was considered a shameless yes man for Indira. and even he revolted in the case of Golden temple episode and the Sikh riots. That is why he never got a second term despite his total Dogish loyalty. MMS is even worse and actually a disgrace to the nation when it comes to politics. He may be totally incorrupt, but a person who turns a blind eye to the corruption around him is even worse - since he is expected to act against them and given all powers by the people.
