Lalu, Paswan declare their sons as heirs
PATNA: The sons are rising. They want to share responsibility and lessen the burden of their dads. Chirag Paswan and Tejaswi Yadav, sons of LJP chief Ram Vilas Paswan and RJD supremo Lalu Prasad respectively have jumped in the active politics and their dads have almost declared them as their political heirs.
On Wednesday Lalu projected Tejaswi as his heir while Paswan a fortnight back did the same. The two youths stole the limelight of the programmes of their respective parties.
Chirag, who acted in one film and said still working in two more films, has started 'LJP Chala Gaon ki Ore' programme from September 4 with first stoppage at Nalanda. He spent three days in the home district of chief minister Nitish Kumar, meeting people, holding public meetings and going to the interiors to take his message to the youths.
Tejaswi, the cricketer son of Lalu and Rabri Devi who was included in the Delhi Daredevil during IPL's first three seasons, is busy holding Yuva Sammelan (youth convention) in different districts and started the series from Kaimur district on September 6.
The two parties, which have alliance, are now focusing to bring youths in their fold and to achieve this target have fielded their youth face and activating youth and students wings in the wake of parliamentary election.
Chirag will travel to Bhojpur district on September 14 where he will stay for three days, Jamui on September 20 and Muzaffarpur from September 21 to 23. Tejaswi on the other hand will hold youth conventions at Rohtas, Munger, Bhagalpur, Banka, Jamui, Sheohar, Gopalganj and Siwan where he will conclude on September 21.
Chirag said the condition of the youths in Bihar, their humiliation and assault in Maharashtra and other states where they go in search of job, increasing unemployment and no constructive policy for them by the Bihar government forced him to come back from his luxurious life in Mumbai.
"Bihar has over 60% youth population but no government ever took care of them or thought about their interest," said Chirag, who has been appointed chairman of the LJP parliamentary board, and added, "The future of Bihar will be decided by the youths. They will fight for their rights and not rest until they achieve it."
Both Chirag and Tejaswi have strongly favoured the concept of a youth commission on the lines of women, minorities and SC and ST commissions in centre and states and promised if their parties come to power the youth commission will be a reality.
The two youthful leaders had been launched by their fathers during last assembly election in 2010 when both actively stumped for their party nominees.

Re: Lalu, Paswan declare their sons as heirs
Wonderful! Along with MT, they are all fostering sikularism and democracy.
Seriously, Laloo and Paswan are lucky that BIMARUs are still leading the nation in voting for fukularists. Looks like MT is hoping that the whole country is in a coma so that her brilliant son can become the PM.
