no... He is lying....He is acting like he is anti-temple. Toilet building is UPA specialty as all the ministers and MPs have experience in cleaning the latrines of the High Command. No one is uniquely qualified to build and care for latrines than the CONmen.

Modi should just stick to building temples...

Hindutva is not opposed to toilets.

Veda (including the Gita) explicitly states in several places / verses that the cleanliness (internal and external) is of utmost importance. In other words, there is no Hindutva opposition to toilets which basically improve the personal and environmental hygiene.

New Delhi: Union Minister Jairam Ramesh, who was criticised by the BJP over a similar comment on toilets as Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi, has questioned the BJP's 'double standards'. Speaking to CNN-IBN on Modi's comment that toilets should be built before temples in India, Ramesh said, "I still believe we need more toilets than temples. I wish Modi had discovered this 20 years ago, then we would not have had the Babri Masjid episode."
