strictly speaking there are no religious/spiritual babas in orthodox islam. the only parallel with the hindu babas like Asaram would be sufi saints. i have not heard of any scandal surrounding any sufi saint. my suspicion is that these sex scandals associated with the hindu babas have their basis in a perverted understanding of tantrism.

Rajneesh, Nityananda, Abhishek Manu Singhvi, ND Tiwari, etc., are the known cases.

Most CON MLAs and MPs are perfect gentlemen until the truth comes out that they are super tantric.

Some years ago, a group of CONmen went to Chicago. They were all, apparently, asking for special "arrangements"! The hosts were clever. They told them that they will introduce them to the local civic authorities and the security establishment. CONmen, apparently, got the message.

Doc, you are the softie whose heart melts for Indian Muslims. So you should be posting stories of how innocent Muslims women are exploited by Muslim babas.

The mixing of political figures with spiritual gurus is not approriate. Further:

Consensual sex should not be placed on par with rape and forcible sexual assaults. When it comes to rape, etc. BJP is clearly on par with or even ahead of Congress. For instance, Renukacharya and Haratal Halappa who are BJP MLAs accused of rape. And who can forget the shameless BJP MLAs watching pornography inside the Karnataka assembly.
