>>> Any man with some sense would never got to a temple when it is going to be crowded. Even educated fools rush to these places and wait for hours standing in lines with their babies crying not able to go to bathroom, starving and many times women getting molested by scums.
Why this need for self torture?
They did not have any temple during vedic times.

Merlot,
What do you think about the Haj pilgrims dying in stampede in Mecca?

What do you think of your people and comrades bomb and kill innocents in markets, train stations, and trains ? Does your "rule" of people not going to crowded places apply?
Please note that not everyone can afford to go to Tora Bora mountains to pay obeisance like you do nor everyone can afford a Verna.

Uppili if you are a true Hindu you will let go of the hatred in your heart for a few posters whom you don't know personally. If you are a fake Hindu you will continue to harbor hatred for all those posters with whom you disagree. I am putting you to the test: prove that you are a genuine Hindu or admit that you are a fake Hindu.Marathadi-Saamiyaar wrote:Is that the sign on your house door? Is there really any definition of who is a Hindu?
I do not know any vedas nor I have read any puranas. I do not know Sanskrit nor any slokas. I do not go to a temple on my own accord. I am not sure if GOD the creator really exists. I think most of the gurus and swamis are charlatans.
So am I a Hindu or not?
There are millions of men and women who follow Asram Bapu. These followers simply are in denial about their Gurus's sexual crimes. Should we call them real Hindus because they do not worry about Islamic fanaticism?

Re: Oh the joys of faith...
in Hinduism there are many different schools of hindu philosophy. they range from atheism to monism to theism and really all possible approaches to ontology (the study of existence) that you can think of. In one of the Budha's dialogues we learn that in his times there existed sixty two distinct theories regarding the nature of the soul. So anyone who violently attacks people (giving insinuations of physical violence directly or indirectly) who disagree with his philosophical or religious views is in my opinion not a true hindu since he is not taking into account the pluralism within hinduism which is an essential component of this religion. It is in practice possible to be a Hindu even if one disagrees with Hindu scripture. The Sankhya philosophy is a non-Vedic, one can even say anti-Vedic philosophy, and yet it is considered an integral component of Hindu philosophy. So yes, you can go ahead and consider yourself a hindu even if you do not accept everything written in the Vedas. Even if you are an atheist it is all right to consider yourself a hindu if you are born in a hindu family (or if you are attracted to hinduism if you are born into some other religion) since hinduism includes within it atheistic schools of philosophy like the Sankhya.Rishi wrote:Rashmun,Rashmun wrote:Uppili if you are a true Hindu you will let go of the hatred in your heart for a few posters whom you don't know personally. The fake godmen like Asaram are not true representatives of Hinduism. Asaram seems to practice a perverted form of Tantrism in which he sacrifices young boys in Tantrika rituals and has sex with young women as per the allegations against him.
