Why TN police opposed Memorial to SL Tamil war victims in Thanjai?

But court appoved the opening of the memorial and it happened. In the meanwhile at the instigation of somebody local Panchayat opposed it. One of the Panchayat resolutions said the controversial memorial had encroached upon the highway, and since a public meeting with foreign dignitaries was being planned, it would create divisions in the local panchayat and posed a potential threat to peace in the locality. WHAT??

LTTE remnants have infiltrated all across TN and have become the Goons of TN. They threaten/control the SL - Tamil refugees and extract money. Why is there a monument for SL war victims - tamils or Sinhalese - in TN ?

Why in Thanjavur ? how many SL tamls live there ? They should demolish this monument built for foreigners.
