My thoughts are totally out of sync with my beliefs. Major disconnect there. No wonder my destiny is all screwed up.

On the bright side your actions landed you in the US, haven't they? Of course, I'm assuming that was a good thing.Vidya Bagchi wrote:My thoughts are totally out of sync with my beliefs. Major disconnect there. No wonder my destiny is all screwed up.

My landing in the US, hmm. Funny how it happened and I didn't even know it was happening. XH came here, so I had to get here too. He was doing MS, and that was the fastest way for me to get here too. Up until final year I used to claim I won't do masters, and that I had studied enough. But there I was, taking GRE and TOEFL, and then doing masters here. Treated MS not as a goal but simply as a means to a goal. Chose the university that he was in, chose the field that he was in. Got married at the end of first sem, got preggers by the end of the second sem, and had the baby 3 days after finishg 3rd sem, lol. Funny how ambitious I never was.confuzzled dude wrote:On the bright side your actions landed you in the US, haven't they? You were never divorced for a single minute.
Why the need for concocting this story?

I have two choices. One guy is Persian and the other fellow a Chinese. The problem with the Persian guy is he cries "Allahu Akbar" even during love making.

just wiki'd it. Vishnu's female avatar Mohini, egads!!! I love our mythology.Rishi wrote:>>> Lord Ayyapaa was the result of the union between Vishnu and Shiva.
So wait, you have the venue and the year decided, but not decided the guy yet? What's the problem with allahu akbar, you can always reciprocate it with, "Venkateshwaraaaaaa". What's wrong with the chinku?Rishi wrote:

The Chinku guy has bad breath.
It looks daily dose of "Allahu Akbar" is more tolerable.
Life decisions can be hard.
