AAP's Economic policies Empty AAP's Economic policies

.......Economic policy according to AAP/Kejriwal should be as follows (obtained from interviews, manifestos, etc). “GDP growth should be directly related to the lives of the people, but such growth affects very few people … AAP opposes privatisation, wants government into oil extraction (and much else), recommends an increase in effective taxes on the middle class and supports increases in fuel and electricity subsidies.

Commies would love AAP...no wonder Idefix aka PP aka Admin loved AAP.

Well, I don't think they can compete with the CON machine on giveaways (and siphoning most of it). Bhushan, I am sure, is a Commie. Yadav is a socialist. They do, however, have supporters who are not left wing. Overall, I hope they are not as bad as V P Singh.

AAP is a bunch of idealistic loonies who believe the nation is best served by a panchayati-raj style cooperative model, where every decision is taken wisely and entirely locally, and a big policeman called the Lok Pal makes sure everyone keeps their noses clean.

Their popular appeal reflects the sheer desperation of the middle class voter who is disgusted by the UPA but is put off by Modi (not necessarily the BJP). But for the AAP, the BJP would have had a thumping win in Delhi.

AAP is likely to siphon off votes from the CON Bank more than from the BJP. That should help the BJP very much in the General elections.

I only hope enough bigwigs win on the BJP side so that Modi does not do an Indira 1969 (or 1975) iShytyle.

Would agree with thread poster.  India's frenzy over AAP's success seems premature.
