nflx is gonna raise prices soon now that it's having to deal with paying comcast for content delivery priority but it's stock doesnt seem to care.

Strike 30 and 40 contacts translates to 680$ at today's ask prices. Yesterday was probably lower.

Not sure I understand the strategy here. Is it to ensure that in a say 15% downward swing, the ratio of premium from strike 45 to strike 30 is around 7 times (1.08 to av 0.10 and 0.17)
compared to ration of Strike 55 to Strike 40, which is around 3.10 to 0.55.

How does the premium decay work out. Does the time related decay of the option price work out the same for both Strike 40 as well as Strike 30, given that strike 30 is already very low, and  might withstand time related reductions in quantized values of 1 cent ?
