Referendum business Empty Referendum business

Post by Rishi Mon Mar 17, 2014 12:00 pm

Pakistan demands referendum on Kashmir.

India should agree provided there are referendums held in Baluchistan, Sindh and Pakhtoonistan as well.

Since KV wants separate TN, we can have a referendum there also.

Most like the results will be:

1. Kashmir, Baluchistan, Sindh and Pakhtoonistan will vote to go their own ways.
2. People of TN will vote to be with India than to be ruled by the likes of MK, Stalin and Alagiri. They know that TN on its own will end up like Rwanda.

>>>This whole referendum thing opens up a can of worms, but for someone to pull it off, you need a sponsor with big firepower and clout. Pakistan, for all the bombast, is a country with no gravitas or world standing. Sponsoring assorted terrorist thugs does not endear it to the west, on which it still depends heavily . Add to that the lack of any meaningful contribution to the world economy and you have a basket-case. There are grumblings in PoK about second class treatment even now and Baluchistan as well. Given all that, while Pakistan will be a perennial nuisance to India, it is not Putin's Russia. As for TN, I think the referendum to join ealam will probably have KV and Tanji at the poll and that will be pretty much it. It will make for some comic relief though. Even our DMK/ADMK thieves know a good thing when they see one in terms of looting potential.
