Set solved.
For #8 I would've said CLOCK (replace I in CLICK with O) instead of the other way around. But again "having love for one" is almost the same as "having one for love." So I accept CLICK as well.

But then , how do you fit Succeed ? CLICK seems to be the correct answer with Succeed as defn. Timer can't be defn because it is part of the word one-timer.

I was thinking -
Timer (in "one-timer") is the clock. Having "love" for "one" (in one-timer) means replace "I" with "O."

i considered both and decided to go with CLICK but agree that CLOCK is a more appropriate answer, except that the hypen in the definition, "one-timer", will have some folks frowning.
