this could be a doctored speech by the bjp dirty tricks department. the article says it is unclear when and where the video clipping was short. this makes the viewer suspicious.

Here is another article on this in the following.Rashmun wrote:this could be a doctored speech by the bjp dirty tricks department. the article says it is unclear when and where the video clipping was short. this makes the viewer suspicious.
For AAP, controversy over Shazia Ilmi's reported remarks on Muslims
New Delhi: In a video posted on youtube, Shazia Ilmi, a top leader of the Aam Aadmi Party, is seen urging Muslim leaders, "I'm saying Muslims are very secular. Muslims need to be communal. A Muslim isn't communal - doesn't vote for his own Arvind Kejriwal is one of you. You are too secular - sometimes you vote for the Congress, sometimes for others. Don't be this secular. Look after your own homes (interests). This may be a very controversial thing to say but it is essential. Look at what benefits you."
NDTV cannot verify the authenticity of the video. On its twitter account, Ms Ilmi's party stated, "AAP does not believe in this kind of politics nor does it endorse it... All our representatives should be careful in their choice of words so that there is no scope for misinterpretation."
Ms Ilmi is running for parliament from Ghaziabad, in Uttar Pradesh.
In recent weeks, the national election has seen politicians using religion to court voters and whip up a partisan agenda, with the powerful Election Commission reacting swiftly. It has banned Azam Khan, a minister in Uttar Pradesh, from campaigning after the leader made a hate speech. Last week, it lifted a similar ban on the BJP's Amit Shah after he vowed not to "use abusive or derogatory language." Mr Shah is a top aide of Narendra Modi, the BJP's prime ministerial candidate.
This morning, Mr Modi appeared to condemn anti-Muslim remarks made by his party's Giriraj Singh and Pravin Togadia, who was once Mr Modi's close associate. "Petty statements by those claiming to be BJP's well wishers are deviating the campaign from the issues of development & good governance," Mr Modi tweeted.
Mr Singh had said on the weekend that those opposed to Mr Modi would have to go to Pakistan after the BJP wins the election. In a video that surfaced yesterday, Mr Togadia, a top leader of the of the right-wing Hindu Vishwa Parishad or VHP, was seen offering advice on how to prevent Muslims from buying property in Hindus-dominated areas of Gujarat. He has denied making hate remarks.

Modi condemns hate speeches in interviews and hate speeches, but he claps and applauds and 'relishes' hate speeches made by someone when he is sitting on the same dais as the speaker:
https://such.forumotion.com/t22561-dynamic-cong-leader-randeep-surejewala-releases-video-clip-of-modi-clapping-and-applauding-even-while-one-of-his-buddies-is-giving-a-hate-speech#152348
of course he has given hate speeches in the past himself. like when he spoke of muslim relief camps as 'baby making factories' and tried to create a hindu-muslim divide by saying 'hum do, humare do; woh paach, unke pacchis"

Assuming the Shazia video is genuine one can only say she does not know the meaning of the word communal. She is saying "be communal, look out for your interest, and vote for AAP"

You definitely "still" cannot recognize sarcasm if it hits you on the head.
And you calling others as "idiot" is very rich , don't you think ?

the video is genuine. Shazia has refused to apologize saying she was only asking for muslims to look out for their interest while voting. Manish Sisodia of AAP has said Shazia should have been more careful with her language.

She needs to learn that with all the different religious laws officially in use in India (thanks to the Govt.) people (including the Muslims) already are communal and and not secular.

Of course, Gandhi ji asked that muslim orphans be brought up as muslims. Akbar was a muslim and yet developed hinduism and built 1000s of temples and killed all the muslims opposed to hindus. Sonia is not a muslim and neither is Rahul. PC is not a muslim and never asked muslims to be communal. PC is the best candidate to be the next PM as he is not contesting. Manmohan Singh also never contested any elections and served as a PM for 10 years - and he is not a muslim also.
Upanishads say one should not look into any religion when talking about Karma. Upanishads is not a muslim document.
iLmi is a muslim and by asking her people to be more communal, she has proved that she and muslims are actually secular. earlier they were communal and hence were called secular. Now if they become more communal, they will be more secular and hence iLmi is correct.

the above seems to be a cut-paste from somewhere along the lines of the infamous Morning Coffee posts.

Your QED is of the same quality as your Ph D thesis. What is the name of that university again that awarded a Ph D to you?
