NaMo as PM? What happens to companies that gained from Gujarat's industrialisation
"If closeness to Modi meant success for these companies, what happens in a scenario when Modi is away — say in Delhi? To answer that question we looked at brokerage Ambit Capital that has been publishing a list of 50 companies in its
series titled 'Good & Clean Portfolio'.
Saurabh Mukherjea, CEO, institutional equities, Ambit Capital, explains there were three criteria for choosing the companies that made it to the portfolio: quality of accounting, strong management — and the core competitive advantage of these companies should not be proximity to politicians. Torrent Power, Cadila Healthcare and infrastructure firm Sadbhav Engineering are the Ahmedabad-headquartered companies that find a place in the list. Not on the list: any Adani group company. "

-> Not sure whether the author is approving or criticizing; I didn't quite get the message he was trying to send across.

The author is probably just making a list for stock pickers to think about.
Cbi already made such a list for jagan . just check the names of defendents on each charge sheet.
