That may be on the higher side, but the general consensus on the ground is that in the regular 60% that vote half of them will go to YSRCP and the others split the rest half. It is only if the vote percent goes higher and the more educated, middle class and upper ones vote do the TDP/BJP alliance will benefit. That means there should be 75-80% voting. Even this benefits TDP/BJP only in the coastal areas and not the seema areas. So more chances that YSRCP forms the govt. The count itself may be 90-120 based on total vote%.
Tie up with BJP is going to cost TDP in SA though it may bring marginal benefit in T area. CBN is very paranoid and so trying all and sundry tricks to the last minute to ensure he stays relevant (even if not in power) post these elections.

Yup, especially parliamnet seats. I doubt it very much that YSRCP can win 20 out of 25.smArtha wrote:That may be on the higher side, but the general consensus on the ground is that in the regular 60% that vote half of them will go to YSRCP and the others split the rest half. Re: YSRC leading in SeemAndhra
Apparently, these 'aayana vastunnAdu' ads are working very well with the economically and socially backward classes. People are connecting better to this than the 'Singapore dreams' that CBN/TDP tried to sell.

In case you are not aware, TDP runs shame-to-shame "Aayana vastunnAdu" as well. May the both contracted it out the same company.smArtha wrote:Apparently, these 'aayana vastunnAdu' ads are working very well with the economically and socially backward classes. I know. They should have run an 'aayana vastAdu jagrattha' style ones to counter the impact of the original. Their version, however, is not as good -content and impact wise.

Instead of saying "aayanostene baguntundi" at the end, the ad should've said "eeyanostene baaguntundi." endukante - "aayana" connotes "the guy over there," and "eeyana" appears to say "the guy over here." mari "ayana" "aayane" kada.
