it isn't, but a more thorough background check and a waiting period is realistic. all they had to do was a google search on this guy's name. the politicians do have blood on their hands.

Why there is no outrage about this? Is it because both the victims and perpetrators are black?

The black parents in Baltimore say the same thing as that as the white man in Santa Barbara. "My son is a good kid. He did not deserve this."

But we don't see any nation-wide media coverage about this.

you're right there should be more commentary. but i don't think this has to do with racism. i think it has to do with the fact that the public somehow has rationalized gang violence as everyday occurrences. not sure if it would be any different if this was happening amongst korean gangs in LA.

This is almost June and congressmen have t get ready for their elections in 5 months.

So expect - if anything - pro NRA statements and actions.

NRA should be reminded that gun rights belonged to second AMENDMENT (only) and not part of the original constitution - which enshrines the right to life and liberty.
