Here's a reporter using "would" incorrectly, as Indian reporters often do, while trying to sound pompous:

"PANAJI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi would unveil a plaque for foundation of the third bridge across Mandovi river near Panaji on June 14." -- The Economic Times.

S/he should have used "will."
