Sometimes I wonder if Gore had won, not just by popular votes but also by edging out Bush in Florida, this whole mess with Iraq would have ever started. Or, if the surplus left by Clinton would have been squandered away into deficit on a useless war. Or, if Bush would have won a second term had it not been for the war.

So many ifs ... hmmm.
