i improved my typing sooo much when i started posting online on forums. on reddit they dont like a dont without the apostrophe :-??
i got a big lecture from some senior poster about how such posters should stick to toi's comment section.
i dont know how would you react to the sms we used to send each other in India lol
necessity, they say, is mother of invention. when cellphones fist came out, sms was expensive and phone only allowed so many characters per message so text became txt and message became msg...we started omitting comma apostrophe and other punctuation where we could and then stopped using them altogether.
