been watching several episodes of "columbo". the show made its debut in the late 60s or early 70s. i am still in the early seasons of the show.

while i enjoy the show and peter falk's character, what strikes me the most is how easy and permissible it was to smoke. smoking was okay even at hospitals!  quite a contrast from today.

my dad loves this show. it's one of the few non-indian things he'll sit through.

it is quite enjoyable and mostly clean - though my older kid can't stand columbo and finds him an annoying idiot.

I loved this show..always good to watch how he goes after his intuition. Also, that guy nearly looked, talked, smoked, dressed like my father. Was like watching my father for 1 hour every week.

Another one I loved was McGyver.

yeah...during rains when he was young.
