The highest elected Tamil official Cjief Minister Jayalalthaa addressed Tamil Nadu on August 15, the day of enslavement (August 15, 1947).

She was combative and stood by Tamil rights.

She opposed Indian gov's GAIL project that was approved without the consent of Tamil Nadu. She said she would not allow foreign corporations in retail in Tamil Nadu whatever Indian gov position is.

News did not say if she used notes. Who care? Except some Modi lovers. Concentrate on what people do and not on whether notes were used or she smiled thrice or 300 times.
