Telangana gearing up another survey Empty Telangana gearing up another survey

Post by indophile Fri Aug 22, 2014 8:13 am

This time it's land survey. For the recently concluded people survey, it was easy - print forms, fix a day, send people (called "enumerators"), get the questonaire filled, may be feed the papers into scantron, and let the machine spit out out the tables. But land survey requires surveyors (skilled people) to cover all the ten districts (couple of them as big as some states in the country), survey every itty-bitty plot, compare what's on the ground with what came up on survey, and then send bulldozers. It's not going to be a one day affair like the people survey.

If the survey needs to be redone, will the "enumerators" become "renumerators?"
will they then receive renumeration or remuneration for their work?

It seems whoever came up with this scheme had no idea about what the land survey involves and how messy it can get.

This is one of the things he promised before the election.

KCR has promised to take jobs away from Seemandhra people and give to Telangana people. He promised to get back "illegal" properties of Seemandhra people in Hyderabad. He promised to empty educational institutions in Telangana of Seemandhra students and teachers. He promised houses for slum dwellers in Hyderabad. He promised free electricity to farmers.

People of Telangana will turn against him if he doesn't fulfill these promises. He is stuck.

KCR will be in trouble as he can't really fulfill his promises. Also, the other TRS leaders are not happy that only KCR's family is making most of the money. Some of them will soon turn against him.

Pittala Dora will be a one term CM. He is in a race to make more money than Jagan in the next 2-3 years.

Carvaka should start giving some good advice to KCR, KTR and Kavitakka :-).

Adidam Surakavi came up with this poem extempore in Poosapati Vijayaramaraju’s court, and it was his satire on those in the court with big mustaches who claimed to be kashatriyas. When they drew their swords to hurt the poet, the poet said he was only comparing the presiding king with those pauranic characters and simply elevated the king. The king was pleased with his samayasphoorti and ordered a kanakaabhishekam for the poet right then and there.

We consider anyone who lived in Tamil Nadu in 1956 or before or their offsprings as citizens, Those who came after that may obtain citizenship if the live in TN continuously for 10 years and accept Tamil Nadu as their country. Similar to US citizenship rules.

Under that criteria, everyone in your list except Rajnikanth will qualify.

Yes, after 10 years of continuous stay in Tamil Nadu, unless they entered TN illegally per international norms.

But TN is not a country.
Also what use is the year 1956 then? if you can live for 10 years in TN (whether you pay taxes or on the dole doesn't matter), then per your pronouncement you are already a resident (or domicile as they say it).

But that's meaningless, when it's not a country. TN is a state in India.

So, are you going to throw out Rajnikanth, Ammaa, Madurai Mudaliars, Tanjavur Nayakas, 2/3rd of Coimbatore population, 1/3rd of Kanchi-Vellore-Rajapet population, 1/3rd of Madras population, 1/2 of Hosur population.......... ?

Good luck!

So, coastal Andhra people, Keralites and some Kannadigas are accepted?
