can't be worse than bhajji and mishra, and certainly he has shown in the limited overs game that he is a more thinking cricketer than ojha. plus, like bhogle says he takes his batting seriously which we desperately need the tailenders to do.

Agreed. Bhajji can be rested for couple of more series or until finds his form in domestic circuit. Ojha's performance was comparable to Bhajji's in the matches they played together which isn't saying much. It would have made more sense to bring Aswin as a replacement as he is already in ODI squad and would have given him more time to get acclimatized.

that would have been possible for the Madras Mafia had they not selected paupers like murali vijay, raina, saha and mukund (all from chennai super kings) failures after failures. half the IND team is from CSK.

and now that The Cheap Selector is accused of favoring his own child on a tour to AUS, he had no choice but to go for a player who was north of Madurai to look fair. that's unfortunate for Ashwin, but that's all Madras Mafia's doing.
