Nicely done. Good one Tracy.
Frank Sinatra's great song "My Way"..seems to really enhance the farewell tribute!

It's good that people are appreciated when they are alive..Michael Jackson, Robin Williams, even Joan Rivers (to name a few)..were hardly showered with the love they did recieved in death.

Hope you are having a good Sat!

Yes M having a good saturday. Had to wake up for a 8 am dental appointment. Was one filling and one crown. Took 2 hours. Came home and slept for 1 hour. Still a little numb. Have been hoping to near-fast these two days, to make up for the hogging of last week, so had black bean soup. On the agenda for today is to watch a movie in theatres and making onion-tomato gravy for use later. And of course a BIG afternoon nap. Let's see how much gets done.

You never followed baseball? I have not much been into baseball lately as between son and XH, soccer, ice hockey, basketball and football gets watched more, (and tennis during US Open).

Anyway I first heard of him was when xh was excited how lara dutta (ex miss universe) dated him when she lived in NY for 1 year as Ms Universe.

I have watched one Yankee game live. I am sure A Rod was in it as he was going strong at the time and the public cheered e'time he came on. I think Jeter was there too. This was in 2008 I think.

Tracy,

You are having a busy day.Hope you don't feel so guilty about eating more some days..as you know yo-yo dieting is not too effective or healthy, and from the appearance perspective, am sure, you look attactive:)

Are there any good new movies..have not looked into them.

Have a good weekend!

Even I am not keeping up with new movies. mostly catching up on netflix releases. I watched The Drop last weekend on PI's reco. Is a good movie. However, it's a low budget movie. I think one can wait for DVD/netflix release. But be sure to catch it.

I am planning to watch Hindi movie Finding Fanny today. I had posted its song a few weeks ago. Heard good reviews. Heard Mary Kom is good as well. Do you watch Hindi movies?

Years ago, I used to watch Hindi movies, now I very rarely do, if there are good recos.

Frankly, nowadays, I rarely watch Tamil movies too.  Don't have the patience to watch entire movies at home. From social media and friends, do know about current happenings in Tamil cinema. We go to the theater a few times a year to see English movies. Have most of the Tamil TV Channels..on a Sat like this- will watch programs; just movie songs and comedy movie clips, gameshows..if I can, one or two serials on weekdays at night, that's about it.

I like watching sports..since Football is like a "major religion" in the South..like to watch College Football, NFL..also during Basketball season, College Basketball and NBA..some grand slam tennis.

As far as tv goes, I usually watch whatever s, d, or xh is watching. that gives me a fairly wide range. The only thing i ever watch on my own is the weekend desi shows that I record, and I watch them while cooking. heh. Maybe a series if I am into it, however I avoid starting a new series, even on Netflix, as I have series-addiction issues. Nothing is going on currently anyway. Most of my entertainment comes from my laptop and iphone.
