Why is Modi successful..........

Modi is highly successful because he digested the contents of Bhagavadgita and became a Karma Yogi. When he was young, he toured the country like a sadhu, spent time in the Himalayas meditating and meeting mahatmas. He had learnt discipline from RSS and decided to dedicate his life to public service.
His strength comes from his understanding that Indian culture is positive and India can succeed if she realizes her inner strength. He doesn't believe in convoluted games (like those by CONmen). He puts his thinking into clear action.
Just as the average American is patriotic, Indians will soon become proud of their cultural heritage. Self-deprecating sikular era has come to an end. The youth of India will embrace Modi's development agenda and enjoy the dividends.
Deshdrohis and corrupt politicians who undermine Hinduism and Indian culture, will be put in their place. They are better off to mend their ways or face the drama.
Marie Antoinette and Ceausescu will be hanged.

Idi Amin, Saddam, Mugabe all came from humble beginnings. I don't need to tell what happened once they have risen to the top

I think it is too early to judge his successes though his plans are looking good. His talk (today) about fulfilling so many future global jobs (supplying manpower to other countries) but no plans for developing jobs in India.
He should get good advice on science/tech/innovation rather than just supplying manpower to the world.
I donot like his idea of pushing hindi while ignoring other old/important regional languages.
He should help in entrepreneurship and help ease govt red tape in startups.
If his judiciary is really good, it should treat/prosecute his own party members if they are guilty of corruption/crimes as currently going on JJ/MK/Raja or others..

'If you build it, they will come' applies here to the infrastructure especially. RE's point in the G2 thread about creating a forward thinking bureaucracy has urgency as well, if the goal is sustainable economic growth.
