explain to me again why obama deserves credit for post economic calamity recovery? did he succeed with his economic stimulus measures? you dont think that's simplistic thinking on part of dems that ppl should just dumbly credit the president with things out of his control and vote for his party just coz he was lucky enough to preside when there was a v-shaped recovery from the depths of a huge economic crisis? 

same way bush didnt have much to do with post 2002 recovery which was a combination of recovery from the depths of tech bubble bursting & subsequent housing bubble inflation.

Can you imagine the articles/posts/discussions today, if Obama led administration had failed to stop the slide post 2007 and if US in 2014 were not coming out with 200,000 new jobs for last 9 months?

Who do you think would have gotten the blame if Obama failed?

NY times BS aside, obama promised that the stimulus would result in shovel ready projects and then later said there were so such projects. they instead built a bunch of useless infrastructure, nothing lasting like was hoped. 

what do you mean if obama had failed? failed at what? he didnt do jack, the fed engineered a recovery with good stewardship and by controlling money supply judiciously. president taking credit for v-recovery from depths of a crisis is laughable....90% of recoveries are v-shaped and obama got lucky with the timing of his presidency. if anything, obama failed with his soaring promises both on economic front and social justice front, not to mention his lack of leadership and floundering on foriegn policy. the only thing that looks like it might not be a failure like the initial days indicated was the obamacare. if it works out as intended he deserves large credit in retrospect for pushing it through but he hasn't been a success on the economic front the way you're touting.
