Just exactly who is this asshole?

I am not seeking to know the "wisdom" behind this system, or historical reasons in a social "belief system", back then.

It is not a Q to seek logic, but to seek the the set of asshole(s) by their names who started this belief system.

This was discussed before many times. Caste system i.e. jAti has no Hindu religious sanction. You can call it more Indian sub-continent thing than Hindu as it prevailed in all religions of the sub continent be it Christians, Muslims, Hindus, Jains and Buddhists. varNa system is the one that was sanctioned by vEdic Hindusim.

Yes I am aware of "Varna" System based on a person's propensity in Karma and Gunas (still NOT birth). Gunas are discussed in detail in Bhagvat Gita, and they have no birth right.

So, where in the past, did we end up with "Jaati" or "Caste" System based on birth?

Who did it, that it is so widespread today, that almost none of its practitioners even understand (if they have read Gita in the first place!) it? But simply practice it, blindly?

Who was the Father of this system?

It certainly cannot be a woman, as it reeks of power hungry men.
