Due to Rana pratap's gallant efforts when his son later had to sign a peace treaty with the mughals he didnt have to send a daughter to the mughal bed either .

Rana pratap's dynasty of Ranas of Mewad is held in highest esteem by all of India for this very reason .

When maratha peshwa Bajirao went campaigning in north india , he deliberately blew the smoke from his hookah onto the face of the king of jaipur---whose family had begun the tradition of sending rajput daughters to the mughal harem . The peshwa was showing his contempt....
On the other hand , the same peshwa sat a step lower than the maharana of mewad ( rana pratap's descendant ) when he went to visit him because his family had kept their honour intact .
When the brahmins of maharashtra declared shivaji a shudra by caste and refused to crown him till he proved his kshatriyaness, he claimed to be a sisodiya---a descendant of the family of rana pratap . And the brahmins crowned him Chhatrapati ( king )....

Apples and oranges. Also, for every Jinnah there was also a Maulana Azad. For every Nizam there was a Tipu Sultan.

The broadminded mughals didn't let their daughter marry anybody. The rule was made by the most broadminded of them all akbar.

Why force a Hindu princess to marry? Why not keep her as a mistress as the Hindu kings and nobility were doing to Muslim girls ( like Baji Rao and Mastani).
Of course the Rajputs were exceptions. There is documentary evidence that they were voluntarily giving their daughters to Mughal kings to be their wives.
