Couple of interesting points from the article:

he said, "We just need to bowl 10 good balls to get them out!"


I wish the current Indian bowling attack would understand this simple idea and try to implement it. Bowl 1-2 special balls per over - that effort ball which bounces more and catches the batsman by surprise, or the ball which swings late and decieves the batsman, etc.

I came back after tea to force Fauod Bacchus to play at a delivery wide outside the off stump for Kirmani to take a brilliant catch.


Even the ODI game was so leisurely back then, with 60 overs for each side and a tea break in addition to lunch break and innings break.
