All of us sat around the table with pani, poori, boiled + mashed potato w/boondi. Approximately 60 pooris demolished under 15 minutes. pani poori is a serious business at home.

the only north indian snack I like is kachori. I don't like pani poori. the whole concept is weird - it would be better if the petit poori shells were thicker and smaller, the size of a lindt truffle.

the ones we get in india are thicker and more brown than the thin white ones here. but i like the ones here, even though the ones in india are tastier. the ones there get stuck in my throat atleast once.

that means you're not chewing it! woman, you could choke on this and it's quite an embarrassing way to pass.......(your cfa, lol!)

when I was a kid I tried to eat fish and in the middle I was like, "what if I choke on it, end up in the ER  and my mom finds out my cause of death and gets pissed off?" I don't bother with it anymore. further when you realize that fish look exactly like snakes, you'll no longer want to eat them.

i like eating fish. always have. i don't think they look like snakes. even back in india where we get the ones with small bones. Had developed a method. Eat with hand, press on both the sides between fingers/thumb, and chew it through the front teeth first. Besides, from the stories i heard, there is a lot of time before you die from a fish bone stuck in your throat, hence a lot of chance to be saved.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tetrapod

the link above is from Wikipedia - but hope that will do for now.

lobe-finned fish>>>>tetrapoda>>>>reptiles

do note that these are all vertebrates/have small heads and mouths/appear to have the same slender bony cage/they have scales/lay eggs. the big thing is that fish have gills. otherwise look the same to me: gross.

thank you, took more classes than I would have like to in bio but will certainly check it out next weekend. did see the comparison between the shark brian and the human brain. I had no idea that the shark brian was so advanced with a clearly demarcated fore/mid/and hindbrain. my boyfriend's gonna love those videos.
