Aussies scored 50 runs too many

australian batting depth helped them to near unbeatable score of 328. A 270 could have been a good score to chase. 320 plus is near impossible. It would be nice to a decent fight by Indian batsmen.

Oh! well started of well but, 2 down now. 78/2 in 15.3 doesn't look good atm.

btw, they were saying 300 is a par score on this ground. India did well to comeback after Maxwell's wicket but botched it in the last 3-4 overs and leaked 20 too many.

250 would have been a winnable target. At >6.5 run rate India is forced to take higher % risks. Once kohli was out, the outside chance of victory is snuffed out. They should keep fighting to reach a decent score.

250! they scored 230 in 37 overs and looked like they were going to score 350.

India supporters put in too much faith in these IPL tigers.

Please let them get some rest before IPL begins.

The logic is you can score faster by taking more chances but you cannot maintain that tempo and you will lose wickets faster. What was required was a partnership that scoring crisply without taking too many risks and India could not find one.

Steve smith won it for Australia. Finch and 3 or 4 others scored fast to get that extra 50 or 60 runs that made it impossible for India to chase.

Anyway, australia was a better batting and bowling unit.

I wonder how many of you stayed up all night watching it. Hubby did, though today is a working day. I don't understand the craziness.

Finch struggled with 70 strike rate. It was Smith first and then Maxwell and Johnson
