Better half wants to sell the european stock index fund (at a loss) and invest it elsewhere. I'm resisting the idea. is the european economy hopeless?

I wanted to pull out of the Euro market and logged into my Swiss bank account.

Realized I had none invested in Euro sector.

Then I went into my retirement..

Noticed it is right where it was 2 months ago - when I had moved much of the internationals into money market.

Looks that for me to be smart, I just should not do anything.

Kinny aunty, why on earth are you still in European equities?? Europeans are losers and will remain hopeless losers for a long time. Listen to the IITian, take your losses and run. Now.

It looks like the Euro won't be around for too long. At least not as the currency of PIGS as well as Germany and France. Perhaps the Treaty of Rome countries will continue in a much-shrunken Eurozone, but I just can't see how it can continue to be the primary currency of the continent.
