Haha..I'm MD and I approve this.
I now keep two sets of everything - one in my travel kit and the other at home, so there's no pressure to unpack.
do you realize that by listening to MD's suggestion you will be falling out of love with your better half?

Re: Would you use your spouse's tongue cleaner?
sigh, and then there was a time when a big deal would be made about sharing coke/thumbs up... my ex would always take a sip and ask me to drink it too, with, 'le le, share karne se pyar badta hai'.... (trust me, this was BEFORE Andaz Apna Apna)... and I would never drink it. I wouldn't care if he drank from my bottle, but then I would not take it back.... I was very jhhoottha phobic then (even my sibs would get irked sometimes)...
that was then, and this is now.
that was then, and this is now.

I remember reading the actor Rajesh Khanna's interview back in the 80s.. He had split with Dimple, and was dating Tina Munim (now Ambani). So the headlines were, 'I share a toothbrush with Tina'. He was thus showing off their closeness and love factor. Anyway, the way my logic worked back then was like this, 'If he is making a big deal out of this, maybe then the norm is to NOT share the toothbursh.. and hence the mental block'.

Actually, even I keep two sets... even though I don't travel much now (used to go to NY a lot to meet family or friends earlier.. almost 2-3 times a month). It's a practical advice. Is so much more convenient. Just pick up and go... sometimes, I travel after weeks and months, and find something in the pouch that I was missing for a long time.
edit: actually before marriage when I was in dorm/apt, and would go to meet K' uncle's place almost every weekend, as he lived with them. I had a set of stuff there itself, coz many times we would be partying late on Fridays, and go there directly.

It is all a matter of perspective - sharing spouse's bank account is more romantic in my view.

I share his shirts/t's/shorts/pj's... what irks him most is when I put on one of his shirts over my nightie when I am cold ... so many of his pass-ons have come to me... dunno if it's love or not, I just find them big, warm, and comfortable.

wondering if the tongue in cheek response has an underlying point!

The question is Anil Ambani sharing his tongue cleaner -err...toothbrush - with Tina munim.
BW idea of Bank account sharing is not romance as the other side has got the eyes wide open.

...but on this side, she has her legs wide open...so it may qualify as romance.
