..... rural folks use all sorts of abusive words when they argue with each other. Words like "prostitute" (in Telugu:  lanja, munda, etc.), "son of a prostitute" (Telugu: lanja kodaka), "widow prostitute" (Telugu: vedhava munda), and worse....., are commonly used.  So, the verdict by the SC that such words constitute grounds for granting divorce is putting a lot of marriages at risk. Looks like at least 80% of rural couples in India are destined to be divorced. Hmm......

Not likely... if the women are brave enough to divorce they would not be abused in the first place.

Now, the SC should rule any marriage looked upon as a "contract" as null and void. This will cause a 8.5 earthquake in India.
