A Memorial Day quote
“ It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier, who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who allows the protester to burn the flag. ”

It is the soldier, who lacks balls, busy creating enemies of America all over the world for the past 3 decades.

It is not the soldier's fault. It is the policy of the person/s or economic interests that holds power. Soldiers are doing what they are signed up to do and if they had better jobs/opportunities they would go for it. And most cops/law/including soldiers (indirectly) and law enforcement agencies are doing what business interests dictate.confuzzled dude wrote:It is the soldier, who lacks balls, busy creating enemies of America all over the world for the past 3 decades.

.......Yeah, it is the Indian military that is encouraging cross-border terrorism, stone pelting and anti-national discussions on JNU campus. It is the Indian army that is provoking Chinamen to do bad things........confuzzled dude wrote:It is the soldier, who lacks balls, busy creating enemies of America all over the world for the past 3 decades.
.......It is the women who make men rapists.....
.......It is Hindus who create monsters out of monomaniacs.....
.......It the cows that make Sikularists eat them.......
.......It is the uglyness of pigs that makes the pieceful hate them.....

Then they don't deserve the pedestal they're routinely & mindlessly put on, do they? One does not become a patriot or savior for merely following marching orders of an idiot. A true patriot would want his country do the right thing; does not blindly follow the nonsense espoused by an incompetent president or his bosses, time & again. I doubt, anyone who knows a bit about Indian independence history would agree with the original post/quote.FluteHolder wrote:It is not the soldier's fault. I don't think I'd brag much about the freedom that supposedly was bestowed on me by killing thousands (if not hundreds of thousands) of innocent citizens of other countries.
