Chattanooga gunman
....Mohammad Youssef Abdulazeez was born in Kuwait but moved with his family to the United States as an infant after the start of the Persian Gulf War and became a U.S. citizen, according to accounts given by friends and one of his sisters.
So what made this "individual" commit this act?

Friday's Joke:
CNN and some other folks were asking "Motive unknown in Chattanooga shooting spree". "Why did he do this?".
I said, "Are you dumb? OR Are you dumb!"
The whole world knows this . He was simply following his book. They all do. What's so surprising.

It grieves us beyond belief to know that his pain found its expression in this heinous act of violence,” the statement said.
Abdulazeez had been in and out of treatment for his depression and frequently stopped taking his medication, despite his parents’ pleas for him to continue, said a person close to the family.

this has got to do with his religion , not just his depression . maybe the depression counted too , but the targeting of marines is because he is a muslim .

The American Psychological Association estimates half of Americans have suffered depression. Half the country owns guns. Half the country has smoked pot.
This guy spent seven months visiting several middle eastern countries, and half the time his family has no idea where he was there. I'd look to the latter as the cause since the country has maybe a hundred million people with the first three who are NOT shooting up recruiting stations

The fact that he went after recruiting stations is also telling.

LOL
This is absolutely funny.
Now people here trying to convince that this was domestic terrorism! while his email, posts scream of his links with headquarters in gulf.
Moral: They are fine as long as they stay humans and not too too focused in what their "book" says. The moment they get obsessed with their manual, they start killing the rest. All parts of world are examples.

There is only one positive outcome of such shootings - IF once can call it that.
SuCHers like CD, MaxE, Rashmun, Swapy, and the Daruwala all shut up for a week and act as if they are all "sleeper" supporters of these terrorists. If one were to think as such who can blame for such a conclusion?

Re: Chattanooga gunman
Real problem with you guys is your stubborn refusal to see the similarities between this incident and the ones happened in South Carolina and Sandy Hook or the host of other shootings that took place in malls, movie theaters etc.,Marathadi-Saamiyaar wrote:There is only one positive outcome of such shootings - IF once can call it that.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/wonkblog/wp/2015/07/24/there-have-been-204-mass-shootings-and-204-days-in-2015-so-far/?tid=pm_business_pop_bThe Mass Shooting Tracker, a crowd-sourced project of the anti-gun folks at the Guns Are Cool subreddit, lists 203 mass shooting events so far in 2015. Add in the shooting at a Louisiana movie theater last night and you get 204. Incidentally, yesterday was the 204th day of the year.
The Mass Shooting Tracker is different from other shooting databases in that it uses a broader definition of mass shooting. "The old FBI definition of Mass Murder (not even the most recent one) is four or more people murdered in one event," the site's creators explain. "It is only logical that a Mass Shooting is four or more people shot in one event."
These shootings have become so common that they typically don't even make national news. Do you remember the four people shot in Cincinnati earlier this month? How about the seven in Cleveland, or the nine in Fort Wayne? Unless you live in these areas, you probably didn't even hear about them.
This year there were 18 mass shootings in April, 39 in May, 41 in June, and 34 so far in July -- and the month isn't over yet. The theater shooting was Louisiana's 8th this year. There have been 10 in Ohio, 14 in California and 16 in New York.
