i have tried garlic icecream. funny story. DH and i were on our way back from LA. 
This place in near gilroy had restrooms but ONLY for customers. DH was desperate and we decided to buy garlic paste from their shop. it was a garlic shop. 

i saw they had garlic ice cream and tried it. tell you what, it wasn't bad.

I guess I can try that one, as I like avocado. Maybe even licorice as I like licorice candies... the only time I was surprised hearing a flavor was red beans in a hibachi place. Now it's my fave there.

>>>Not bad at all. My sister and brother-in-law were visiting and I took them to Monterey. On the way back, we stopped by for garlic ice cream. My sister refused to try it, but my brother-in-law liked it. By the way, if you get a chance try The Stinking Rose in North Beach. Garlic is their specialty. Added bonus is the feel of the place.. it has an old fashion restaurant feel with private booths for seating. Parking and waiting time are a pain though.
