The sartorial shortcomings of the RSS are surprising, given that the inspiration for the founding of the organisation lay in the example of the fascist movements in interwar Europe.
RSS founder Keshav Baliram Hedgewar is said to have borrowed from Mussolini's fascist black shirts for the movement's uniform. He might have been better following the sharper stylings of the Nazis, whose black leather coats, peaked caps and jodhpurs are still the last word in far-right haute couture.

gk, may I, with all sincerity, and no sarcasm, seek an explanation of your post above?

I understand that "jollu" is a colloquial thamizh word for flirt. the question is, who is flirting with whom? is ha flirting with "secular ideas?" are you thinking that he is mocking the rss and the hindu nationalists by linking the article about the rss's sartorial aspirations?

secondly, what is the relevance of the cartoon above? I admit that i have little or no familiarity with cartoons or the characters that populate them.

finally, where and how did you learn your thamizh? although that sounds like a question that's intended to provoke, it truly is not; I mean that quite literally.

did you learn thamizh formally at all, or did you learn it as a child, through speech with your parents and other family members, in your home environment, say, in matunga, a government residential enclave in new delhi, or santa monica, california?

I ask because I cannot understand the thamizh that you speak uninhibitedly here, even though my thamizh - both formal and colloquial -was very good. (I admit that after all these years, it has atrophied.) your thamizh may be a subset of the subset of brahmin thamizh.

please explain, clarify, elucidate, enlighten, etc.

Jollu means saliva or spittle in Madras thamizh. இவன் சரியான ஜொள்ளு பார்ட்டி ... implies he salivates after girls. Flirting is different.

Frankly I have no clue as to how that cartoon picture relates to the post.

1. அய்யோ...அய்யோ...I merely stated the meaning of kalaaichufying, in general, and provided the urban dictionary link; i am not tamizhkirukan who uploaded the material- just to allay any doubt and err....fear!

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Kalaai
Kalaai
A Tamil word popularized by the likes of comedian Santhanam et al, it means teasing someone particularly when in a group, with the obvious aim of making a plain mockery of the person's behaviour or actions.
Person1: Sir, what is route for Anna Square?
Person2: Plus or minus Anna

Here Person2 is assumed to have kalaaichified Person1.
by Tamizhkirukan January 29, 2012

2. wonder whether the other link with thamizh citations was helpful in your understanding of where I come from - is it the same kinda thamizh that you're proficient with?

3. or was the video more helpful than cartoons ?!
