Aamir Khan not removed as Incredible India’s ambassador, confirms Tourism Ministry
Earlier today, reports of actor Aamir Khan being removed as the brand ambassador of the Tourism Ministry's Incredible India campaign came our way. The reports claimed that owing to the controversy that surrounded the actor post his intolerance remark, the Ministry had decided to take the actor off the campaign. However, responding to these reports, the Tourism Ministry has issued a statement terming the reports as a mere rumour and confirming that the actor is very much a part of the campaign and that the Ministry has signed a contract with creative agency, Mc Cann Worldwide to produce several ads featuring Aamir.
Tourism Ministry removes Aamir Khan as brand ambassador of Incredible India?
The statement issued read, "In response to certain news reports appearing in the media about Shri Aamir Khan, the Ministry of Tourism clarifies that there is no change in the stand of the ministry in this matter."

>>> This seems like a win-win situation for him and his family. He can be the Incredible India's ambassador and at the same time his wife can claim that India is intolerant country.

If Aamir Khan thinks that India is intolerant, he can't be the brand ambassador for Incredible India. CONmen can hire him for their "Intolerant" India campaign. Kiran Rao and Pappu can make cameo appearances saying that they want to leave India.

Aamir Khan should be asked to stay the brand ambassador and be given tasks to promote more "Incredible India" videos and programs. That should take care of his ego.
If he wishes to opt out on his own, it will only show his intent and will bring out his feelings in open. If he doesn't and still feels India is intolerant, then he will cry in private.
