His mistake is not wearing a lungi to match his sandals. He should follow proper dress code for a typical Aam Aadmi.

Really insulting to his constituency (Delhi voters) and the visiting chief guest (French Pres) in whose honor he attended the dinner as Delhi C.M. while dressed shabbily (wearing slippers).

Really? So Mahatma Gandhi must have insulted many by not wearing shoes and shirt, pant, tie on many occasions. Indians should stop felling embarrassed. dressing poorly to an important event is disrespectful. No two way about it. It's an attempt to look more powerful therefore uncaring about one's appearance. But it's also very immature n therefore lame.

He was making a point. He showed kejriwal disrespecting French president by dressing poorly, the indifference and uncaring attitude towards our guest only reflects badly on you. He's no longer a poor student (leader) n he should seriously reconsider his look.
Wearing open sandals with socks in delhi's winter is not practical, presidential banquet or not. He should find some closed shoes.
Also, if he wants to represent India's youth, he should get in shape, start working out. He looks totally lost right now. Like he doesn't know his place.
