What a coincidence! I watched that movie just a while ago and got nostalgic! Bapu was a great director!

This is a remake of Bharathiraja's Kizhake Pogum Rail. Sambamoorthy is a trademark Iyer name (could be Saiva Pillai as well, but not likely).
