if you want to search for an old post of yours, do not use the inbuilt or the forum's search feature (even though it is google powered). the search feature of this site has a cut off: it searches only the last 8 or 10 pages of this site's history. the best way to search is through google directly using your id and and your keywords in the search window. it's fast and accurate. for added measure you can add add "forumotion" in the query (if you have had the same id in old ch and don't want sulekha in the results).
