For a Hindu:

What is the caste of a Christian? or a Muslim?

Even today, a Khap Panchayat in Haryana will "order" an honor killing for a Hindu if he/she marries outside caste. An Iyyer in SI, will look for the same caste to marry.

But, no one raises an eyebrow when they choose to marry a Christian from Canada or US, whose caste is not even known?

Why is Hinduism is MORE open towards other religions, but within their own (based on caste) ?

Why?

What Hinduism does within their religion discrimination based on caste, is what other religions have learnt. 

They discriminate based on religion, far more than Hinduism does.

So they claim - "Only Jesus can save U" - Really?

Believe in Allah or you are an infidel - Really?

Unlike other religions, What Hindus discard as "equality of religions" or acceptance of "One God across religions" - they completely miss with "not all castes are equal".

My daughter can marry a French christian (caste unknown), but if she marries this Sudra caste  from next village - my blood boils, eh?

Ok so I get the gist. It's not just Hindus who do that. 
I know a friend whose dad is perfectly okay if she marries an American but Hindus are a big no-no. 
Even though a guy from India would be closer to her families traditions n values, an American is more acceptable than a Hindu. 

I wonder if she found a black American how her dad would react. They are all dark. Tamil or mallu orthodox Protestant Christians. Lol @ orthodox Protestant. I'm so funny. 

So yeah, to address your concern, people try to find faults with people who are like them. Foreigners are exempted. 
You know how North Indians feel South Indian kids are brighter (intelligence wise lol loll I'm hilarious ). But statistics experts will confirm, South Indians have dumb kids too. 
So we only look at our people n install restrictions etc. that's why grampanchayat doesn't issue honor killing fatwas for American grooms. Or brides. Also, who will listen to their opinions or look at their raised eyebrows except their village mates.
