Also,
"In January this year, 86 DBS and POSB ATMs were fitted with visually handicapped-friendly functions in a move that was praised by Social and Family Development Minister Tan Chuan-Jin."
The poor multi language illiterate, monolinguistic tamils are also considered with much compassion and generosity and their needs met by the Singapore government. Kudos to Singapore government!

if that is the case,
- isn't adding tamil (to mandarin and english) a redundancy? shouldn't it be promptly done away with (saving costs)?
- what are you cheering? it would have been 'cos for cheer had it been done india where the other language would have been, say, hindi which tamilians no spiki?

Probably done to aid the elder monolingual Tamil population of Singapore.
Urdu and Bengali in 2 each.
Tamil is the official language in 3 countries. India, Sri Lanka and Singapore.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indian_languages_in_Singapore#Other_Indian_languages wrote:Since 1990, public school students were able to take Hindi or some other Indian languages as their second language in major examinations, whereas previously only official languages like Tamil were offered.[4] Students of other non-Tamil Indian language communities can choose to offer Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Punjabi or Urdu as their Mother-Tongue at the Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE) and the GCE ‘N’, ‘O’ and ‘A’ level examinations Mother-Tongue Language Policy. As with the Tamil community, the other Indian communities also support a number of community groups for the promotion of social and cultural activities catering to each community.

you seemed excited by this ATM development in china, sorry singapore. now these tamilIans in spore will gleefully learn mandarin (and chinese) (YOU SAID SO). why can't tamilians gleefully learn the most widely spoken language of india, hindi? does it need a dictatorial sporean regime to make the tamilians tow the line? what exactly were you proud of WHEN YOU POSTED THIS TOPIC? ANSWER!

i will post this koschen to you as a topic if you don't answer in 24 hours and you can still choose not to answer; we will then let logic run its course.

Re: ATM options in a real international language
A small doubt. Why do you think tamil is a 'real international language'? Is it because you think there are many non-tamils in the world who are learning tamil and are using it or is it because tamils are spread all over the world and are using tamil wherever they are?
Second doubt: Many non-hindi speakers all over india know hindi and it is the most widely spoken and understood language in india (even the gujju PM can speak fluently in hindi). So can Hindi be called a national language (unofficially)?
