Modi considering implementing UCC
.....Say you may....this man has goals and objectives, not believe in business as usual. Time to change the policy of appeasement, sucking up and fearing the swords of minorities, sacrificing the majority at the altar of violence.

Re: Modi considering implementing UCC
Let us assume that BJP manages to implement UCC but article 44 still requires each state to enact it as law. Tamil Nadu might not want to push it since both Jayalalitha and Karunanidhi bend over backwards to please the Muslim vote bank. Like Goa, how many states will have the spine to enact this into law so all citizens, irrespective of religion, are treated equally and uniformly?

could be cleverly done, unobtrusively, in strides. I am not sure but say, twisting their arms, leveraging 2G and disproportionate wealth assets cases ?

Re: Modi considering implementing UCC
Modi has done zero in bringing Raja, Kanimozhi, Kalanidhi Maran etc to a swift verdict so it's no use expecting anything. Jayalalitha's case has dragged on indefinitely. I am frankly disappointed with BJP. All talk, no action. Black money is still tucked away safely in foreign banks and Modi continues to make more empty promises.garam_kuta wrote:goodcitizn wrote:Let us assume that BJP manages to implement UCC but article 44 still requires each state to enact it as law.
