The best way to understand this odd hopscotch is through the Prime Directive of Clinton investigations: We know the Clintons are guilty; the only question is what are they guilty of and when will we find the evidence?

Hillary Clinton is guilty of using a private server for emails. She has accepted that in public.

Correct. Clinton used a private server. As did the George W. Bush administration, including the president himself. It was the wrong thing to do in both cases, and Clinton has publicly apologized for it and has paid a heavy political price for it. Although there were actual investigations for which the Bush administration's emails were needed (including the firing of some US attorneys), the emails were never produced. No apologies, no political price.

Hmm....  Bush never claimed that he was extremely brilliant and Hillary didn't say she was dumb.

(Bill Mahr suggests that Republicans are just catering to their vote banks by raising non-issues that sound important. May be, Pappu should move to the US and become a Republican leader in the evangelical belt.)
