The same way, Eric Holder did not prosecute his $wall street friends who committed bank fraud?  But this should be special, getting a golden glove treatment before even charged?

Lincoln (and to some extent Jefferson) must be turning in their graves.

She does not need a pardon. She hasn't done anything wrong. If the Republicans who have everything, the WH, the senate and the house don't focus on governing and legislating and go after Hillary instead, the voters will know these guys aren't serious about "MAGA" and that was just a slogan. Let 'em try it.

Homa is back on Hillary's side. I was pretty impressed with the bond they share and expressed the same to someone. Their response was, 'Don't be fooled by it. Homa probably knows a lot of Hillary's secrets. Hillary can't afford to ignore her. She got to keep her in her good books and have her by her side.' They could be right.

Hillary as President and Homa by her side could have been not so good for India.

I thought the Sarah Palin thing was a joke, but apparently it is quite real. She is in consideration for secretary of the interior. Maybe it won't be so bad after all. In these troubled days, we are forced to look back at history and find other horrible parallels to help us conclude maybe it won't be so bad after all.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_G._Watt#Secretary_of_the_Interior

In 1980, President-elect Reagan nominated Watt as his Secretary of the Interior. The United States Senate subsequently confirmed the nomination.

His tenure as Secretary of the Interior was controversial, primarily because he was perceived as being hostile to environmentalism, and endorsed development of federal lands by foresting and ranching, and for other commercial interests.

Watt resisted accepting donation of private land to be used for conservation.[8] He suggested that 80 million acres (320,000 km²) of undeveloped land in the United States all be opened for drilling and mining by 2000.[8] The area leased to coal mining quintupled during his term as Secretary of the Interior.[8] Watt boasted that he leased "a billion acres" (4 million km²) of coastal waters, even though only a small portion of that area would ever be drilled.[8] Watt once stated, "We will mine more, drill more, cut more timber."[9]

Watt periodically mentioned his Dispensationalist Christian faith when discussing his method of environmental management. Speaking before Congress, he once said, "I do not know how many future generations we can count on before the Lord returns, whatever it is we have to manage with a skill to leave the resources needed for future generations."

Yeah, Palin for Interior isn't the end of the world. She will open up the national parks for drilling and mining. The much bigger threats are to COP21, CAA, CWA -- if either CAA or CWA are repealed, it is the first time in history that a rich democracy sets the clock back on protecting the quality of its air and water. America's cities were plagued by smog and its rivers full of toxic sludge forty years ago. People have forgotten that those laws helped clean up the very air we breathe.

Yeah. Someone should write a book on the dangers of recreating the old Baltimore, Detroit, Columbus, Cleveland, Toledo, Pittsburgh, etc., or creating new ones of the kind under Trump.
